Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will be met by the representative/safari driver-guide from Nature Adventure Uganda who will personally welcome you to the Land of Africa. Day1: Kigali City-Butare Cultural Tour
Have breakfast, after take the Kigali city tour visiting the Genocide Memorial Center of Kigali and after drive via Nyanza where we will stopover visit the former Kings palace. Lunch, and thereafter drive to Butare with the visit National Museum of Rwanda-Butare. Butare is the second biggest town in Rwanda; this museum of Rwanda is one of the largest Museums in Africa. Butare is also home to the famous National University of Rwanda. Then from the museum you will be transferred to Hotel Ibis Butare for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B
Day2: Butare City-Nyungwe Forest National Park
Have breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle and hit the road heading to Nyungwe Forest National Park and on your way you will have more visit to other cultural sites and the amazing view of the undulating terrains. En-route lunch, and after drive to your lodge of overnight stay either at Nyungwe Forest Lodge/Nyungwe Top Hill Hotel. Meal plan: F/B
Day3: Nyungwe Forest Chimpanzee Trek – Canopy Walk
Have breakfast and transfer to Cyamudongo forest in Nyungwe one of the oldest rainforests, where we shall experience the chimpanzee trekking tours and on this walk you will watch more primates like the red tailed monkey, white and black Colobus, vervet monkeys and birds. Lunch at the lodge, after in the evening take unforgettable canopy walk which will offer you the clear view of the primates, birds and butterflies. Dinner and overnight as above, Meal plan: F/B
Day4: Nyungwe Forest National Park-Lake Kivu
After breakfast, embark the safari vehicle and then transfer with en-route of the cultural sites, Lunch and upon arrival check in at Kivu Serena Hotel/Lake Kivu Gorillas Hotel. Evening take unforgettable boat cruise at the shores of Lake Kivu visiting several fishing villages, have stunning view of the mount Nyiragongo and after return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day5: Lake Kivu-Volcanoes National Park (Gorilla Trekking)
Early morning breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle and take 1 hour drive to the starting point of the gorilla trekking at the Volcanoes National Park. You will reach in time for briefing and after allocated to the trekking group with maximum of 8 people, and once you have reached the family stay for 1 hour taking the unforgettable photos and videos. After a lunch break, return to the park offices for gorilla trekking certificate and relax at lodge. Evening visit to the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village for the Rwanda cultural performances, Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Gorilla Hotel Musanze. Meal plan: F/B
Day6: Volcanoes National Park-Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi forest via Cyanika border with lunch en-route at Kisoro town and drive to the lodge for overnight stay at Mutanda Lake Resort/Bwindi Jungle Lodge. Meal plan: F/B
Day7: Uganda Gorilla Trekking-Lake Bunyonyi
Breakfast and after transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about the mountain gorillas and the forest as well. After enter into the jungle looking for the mountain gorillas, upon meeting them take the unforgettable photos and videos and after return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate. After drive to Lake Bunyonyi and the journey takes about 2 hours to reach in Lake Bunyonyi and in the evening, you will take a boat ride known as canoeing along the Lake visiting several dotted beautiful islands and the communities and you will spot the interesting birds. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages Bunyonyi which has the scenic view of the Kigezi highlands and the unforgettable shores of Lake Bunyonyi. Meal plan: F/B
Day8: Lake Bunyonyi-Queen Elizabeth National Park
After Breakfast you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. With en-route lunch, enjoy a game drive through the Ishasha southern sector area. Then with the chance you will spot the African rare tree climbing lions and other wildlife like Uganda kob, elephants, buffaloes, oribi, topi, warthogs, bushbuck and waterbuck. In the late afternoon transfer to the Mweya peninsula and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Enganzi Lodge/Bush Lodge. Meal plan: F/B
Day9: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Early wake up and morning tea in the lodge, later followed by dawn game drive spotting more wildlife species at the Kasenyi mating ground and more wildlife include the lions, elephants, buffaloes, water and bush buck, warthogs among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and then go for the cruise launch along the Kazinga channel. The Kazinga Channel is a natural channel of 36 km long between Lake George and Lake Edward. You will be able to see elephants, hippo, Nile crocodile and many water birds. The water birds are plentiful along the channel: African skimmers, cormorants, saddle-billed storks, pelicans, among other. Dinner and overnight stay as above, Meal plan: F/B
Day10: Kyambura Gorge Walk-Kibale Forest National Park
Breakfast and after take early morning visit to the Kyambura gorge and take the Eco nature walk in the gorge looking for the unpredictable primates like the chimpanzees, and others. This Eco nature walk is much educative; you will encounter the flora and faunas, birds, butterflies. Lunch at the lodge and after depart to Kibale forest via Kasese-Fort Portal highway with the fabled view of mountain of the moon. Day11: Chimpanzee Trekking-Transfer Hoima
After breakfast we will depart to the starting point of the chimpanzee trekking in the forest, for briefing and after take the half day trekking in the branches of the trees in the forest. {Here we can offer you the Chimpanzee Habituation which is full day experience instead of the half day trekking, and if you are interested in this experience let us know for arrangement}. Day12: Hoima-Murchison Falls National Park
Have breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle and transfer to the Murchison Falls National Park, stop at the top of the falls and experience the amazing flow of River Nile through the marvel of the rocks towards Lake Albert. Drive to the lodge for lunch, evening photographic game drive to take amazing African wildlife images and the great image of African sun set downer. Day13: Game Drive – Boat Cruise on River Nile
Early morning cup of coffee and after take dawn game drive to the demarcated trails looking for the variety of African wildlife that this park offers in high number like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, water and bush bucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs, giraffes among others. Transfer to the starting point of the boat cruise along the shores of River Nile, relax enjoying the African music performances and have your packed lunch. After experience the 3 hours Boat launch cruise along the shores of River Nile towards the bottom base of Murchison Falls and take photos of en-route view of aquatic wildlife and others like Hippos, Nile Crocodiles, elephants and various bird-life species. Here wildlife and birders photographers will appreciate this cruise. Day14: Murchison Falls National Park-Entebbe/Ngamba Islands Chimpanzee Sanctuary
After breakfast, embark the safari vehicle and transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe, visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking which supports the conservation programs of the site and this activity take like 2-3 hours and after drive to Kampala with lunch en-route, you will reach at Entebbe in evening and transfer to the Water Front Club to board the 45 minutes speed boat to the island for your overnight stay trip and you will experience the interesting chimpanzee feeding session. There are other Eco tourism activities at this sanctuary which include: the island care giving with vaccinations, Nature walks, sunset boat cruise, visiting neighboring communities and these can be arranged on special order. After embark the boat back to Entebbe and our driver/guide will drop you to the Entebbe international airport for flight departure back home. End of services
